Today I want to tell you about my sister.
She has something called Loopies. I don’t really know what that means, but I know it makes her get weird spots and ouchies on her skin. Sometimes I try to help and lick them clean, but Mom and Dad always say, “No, Karl,” like I’m the one causing trouble here. So instead, I sit right next to her and supervise. Very professionally.
She takes even more pills than I do, and trust me, that’s impressive. Sometimes she smells a little funny, but that’s not her fault. It’s the Loopies doing Loopies things.
She got her Loopies around the same time I got my Shakies. Mom said there must have been a 2 for 1 sale at the Shepherd Ailment Store. I don’t know what that means, but Mom laughed, so I think it was supposed to be a joke. Humans say weird things.
I remember the day the Shakies showed up. My sister cut her nose on the ice really bad. The cut never healed. It’s still there. That’s because of the Loopies. Mom can explain that part better. She’s very smart and knows things. I just know snacks.
Even though she has Loopies, she still plays, she still steals my bed, and she still bosses me around like she’s queen of the universe. So I know she’s okay.
I keep an eye on her though. I know a thing or two.
She’s my sister, and I love her just the way she is.
